Flow of Time

In the thirty-year-old apartment, by starting with removing the connection between the sofa and the TV set, then freeing the living room, dining room, study, and hallways as flexible spaces, the dimensions of the floor, walls, and ceiling flow from one space to the next. With the space accentuated by old furniture and its unique qualities, we are able to feel the flow of time

With old wooden doors, old cypress wood, metal water pipeline, square iron tubes, and concrete table, the fluidity in the organization of space allows people to continue to experience the nuances of the items in their activities.

From stairway beds, curved ceiling, color plate sliding doors, concrete tables, old wooden doors, and tatami surfaces, each item preserved the passage of time in their unique qualities while being ready to register new memories.
